FP&A Senior Analyst
Department: Financial Planning & Analysis
Position Summary
The FP&A Senior Analyst plays a key role in supporting advanced financial planning and analysis functions, including complex financial modeling, scenario analysis, and long-term forecasting. This role also supports strategic initiatives and provides insights for executive decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and interpret complex financial models and perform scenario analysis
- Support long-term financial planning and identify financial risks and opportunities
- Prepare in-depth variance analysis and report findings to management
- Collaborate with various departments to gather data and insights for financial forecasts
- Presentation of analysis to clients, investors, and key stakeholders in support of strategic decision making
- (US) Interfacing with client CEOs and CFOs in ongoing capacity to meet regular and ad-hoc reporting needs
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
- Progress toward an MBA or CFA designation is highly preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis.
- Solid understanding of GAAP accounting and revenue recognition principles.
- Excellent written and verbal communications to manage engagements with executive calls.
- Effective organization and prioritization, managing multiple projects with different deadlines.
- Advanced analytical and Excel skills, with experience in financial modeling and forecasting.
- Experience working in Software / SaaS or in a Startup, preferred.
